M.W. Hassett replaced J. Pietropaolo on Hidalgo Des Mottes (FR), trained by Eoin Griffin (Race 3)(Raceday Stewards permission).

L.F. Roche, rider of Only One Scobie, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Call The Cavalry trained by Mr. C. Timmons is a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards fined Mr. C. Timmons €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

J. Cleary, rider of Emily's Boy, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

380B HRI Best Turned-Out Flat League H'cap

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Voice Of Reason, trained by William Delahunty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right throughout.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Jerandme, trained by Eddie & Patrick Harty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room in the straight and had to take a check.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Boxing Great, trained by Karl Thornton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Pearl Jewel, trained by Chris Timmons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at around the two furlong pole involving Voice Of Reason, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed third, Jerandme, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, Pearl Jewel, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, unplaced and Porsche Lad, ridden by Reese Holohan, placed fourth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Heffernan stated that his mount leaned right and things became congested. C.D. Hayes stated that he ran out of room and had to take a precautionary check when things became tight for room. J.J.G. Ryan stated that his mount hung badly right, but he attempted to straighten as best he could. Reese Holohan stated that his mount hung right when he felt pressure from the inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Oiche Rua, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

Orla Tynan, rider of Solomon Coop, trained by M.J. Tynan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount got upset in the starting stalls.

380F Horse Racing Returns 9th Jan. 2026 H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the furlong and a half and inside the final furlong involving Captain Hanley, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fifth, and Waystar, ridden by A.S. Grant, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that he felt the gap opened up and that he had enough horse to get through however his mount didn't go through with his run. A.S. Grant stated that when he felt he was clear of Captain Hanley when his mount moved across and then did his best to straighten back up Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted other than to remind him of his obligation to ride with more awareness in future.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Jawhary (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

A.S. Grant, rider of Waystar, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

Jessica O'Gorman, rider of Carslake (GB), trained by Aengus King, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount lost his action down the back.

W.J. Lee, rider of Captain Hanley, trained by Eamonn O'Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was taken slightly off his line, but that his mount also hung in behind the horse in front.
